POWER HOUSE

how it started —
-
At the young age of 17, Lizzie graduated her first yoga teacher training in Austin, Tx. Fast forward over 1,000 RYT hours and certifications later, she has now been teaching public classes, workshops, retreats, trainings, festivals and much much more for an entire decade. Pulling from multiple styles she has studied including Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa, Hatha Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Baptiste, Lizzie has curated her own alignment based, strength-building and advanced sequencing style like none other. Now combining her love for house music and events, she’s combined the two together for the iconic and consecutively sold out class — Power House. Lizzie’s most impactful female mentors and teachers including but not limited to Schuyler Grant, Leah Cullis, Gioconda Parker and Christina Sell have taught her to provide an all-inclusive space for those willing to push their boundaries, step into their power, and create their own bliss. Above all, the practice has taught her to be herself and inspire others to rise to their purpose.

The way up is never easy, and it definitely was a journey that Lizzie’s day one fans experienced with her. Lizzie found it difficult to break in to the yoga community in Austin and was determined to see her endeavor through. After being let go from her first austin yoga studio, the fire was sparked to make a name from herself, by herself. With nothing holding her back she started her own brand, Lizzie Aguirre, and events company, Soulstice. Over 100+ events, yoga and music festivals, yoga retreats, and over 100k followers on Instagram later, her classes at Black Swan Yoga became the most frequented yoga classes in Austin, Tx. She now aspires to help others find their passion and stand strong in who they are and what they love. Never give up.
